1 Hardman Boulevard

1 Hardman Boulevard is one of two new prestigious headquarters buildings for The Royal Bank of Scotland.  This 32,516 sq m (350,000 sq ft) office building is one of the largest commercial buildings in the region and provides a major administration centre for the Bank, supporting its Regional Executive Headquarters at 1 Spinningfields Square.

Allied London played a significant role in the specifications of the building, a key feature of which is flexible floor space ensuring future liquidity. The 36,000 sq ft floor plates can be split into four and the building also divided into four separate entities. The ground and first floors surround a stunning atrium and are linked by escalators and provide communal areas for the staff consisting of a variety of multi-functional spaces, break out areas and a 500 person restaurant facility.

The building is an exemplar of cooperation and collaboration between developer, occupier and planner taking just three months from design to planning consent and only two years from initiation to completion.
